Previously Adopted Snakes

Our most recent adopted snakes are shown here. For older adoptions, please look at our adoption archives.

Canary

Canary, a Ball Python found on a local toilet

Species: Ball Python
Sex: Unknown
Born: 2005 (?)
Colour: Higher Yellow
Size: ~2 feet

Canary was found on a toilet in the Gordon Head region of Victoria. As such, we know very little about his/her history. Canary feeds well, and is very tame.

Murk

Species: Corn Snake
Sex: Unknown
Born: Early 2006
Colour: Reverse Okatee (?)
Size: <1 foot

Murk came to us from a pet shop, where they were unable to get him to eat. Murk was also badly infected with mites, although the pet store employees were able to cure him of those. We were able to get Murk eating in mid-June, although it will be some time before Murk is healthy enough to be adopted.

Bowi

Rainbow, a Columbian Rainbow Boa

Species: Columbian Rainbow Boa
Sex: Unknown
Born: ~2001
Colour: Normal
Size: 4.5 feet

Bowi is a Columbian Rainbow Boa that came to us from a new owner who had purchased it from someone who was moving away. The owner was not able to take care of such a large snake (and the Rainbow Boa is not a first-time snake by any means). Bowi is a little bit agressive, but still a beautiful snake.

We currently have 4 adopted snakes (6 including the archives).
